Lansweeper is hiring a Support Engineer in Ghent to support a growing global customer base. The role is hybrid—three days in the Ghent office—with an in-house lab covering Windows, Linux, macOS, VMware, AD, AWS, and Azure.

You’ll analyze, troubleshoot, and document cases while growing SME expertise in technical domains. You’ll work as part of a team that emphasizes clear communication, QA discipline, and proactive case follow-up, with the opportunity to escalate to enterprise support as you gain

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in IT support, system administration, or similar with hands-on troubleshooting.
• Strong networking foundation across subnets, firewall rules, and discovery protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows; macOS a plus.
• Experience setting up/configuring VMs/lab environments (VMware or similar).
• Familiarity with Active Directory and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Basic familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Salesforce.
• Ability to read/write basic SQL queries or scripts.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Dutch a strong plus for Ghent office.

Responsabilités

• Analyse and troubleshoot technical support cases from customers worldwide, mainly via written communication.
• Reproduce and solve issues in our in-house lab across Windows, Linux, macOS, VMware, AD, AWS, and Azure.
• Document troubleshooting steps clearly in each case for QA and handover.
• Follow up on open cases to respect SLAs and avoid gaps.
• Work in a buddy system for first six months with performance reviews.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation in Confluence, Jira, and Salesforce.
• As you grow, join customer calls for severity-one and enterprise cases and develop SME expertise.
