Job summary

Bnewable is seeking an IT Support Specialist to keep our internal IT secure, reliable and efficient. You’ll be the first point of contact for colleagues and own the broader security journey including Microsoft 365, NIS2 and ISO 27001 compliance, vendor management, and AI tooling rollout.

Based in Mechelen with hybrid work, you report to the Head of Technology and collaborate across teams. You’ll handle 1st/2nd line support, onboarding/offboarding, device provisioning, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 3+ years of IT support, helpdesk or IT operations in a professional environment.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, workplace tools and networking basics.
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 administration including security and compliance.
• Experience with user management, device provisioning and access control.
• Familiarity with NIS2 and ISO 27001 requirements and working with external advisors.
• Strong communication skills in English; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide first- and second-line support for internal systems, devices and network issues.
• Onboard and offboard users: accounts, access rights and equipment.
• Maintain devices and monitor health of internal systems; perform routine updates.
• Document common issues and procedures for faster fixes.
• Configure and harden Microsoft 365 environment (identity, mail, data protection).
• Lead NIS2 and ISO 27001 implementation with external advisors.
• Manage IT and security vendors, including contracts and SLAs.
