Jobtailor in Belgium is seeking a technically curious second-line support engineer to bridge customer support and engineering. You will read code, analyse logs, and triage internal requests to speed resolution while identifying root causes and automation opportunities.

You will experiment with AI tools to analyse logs, structure information, and improve troubleshooting workflows, translating complex tech details into clear explanations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Able to read code, analyze logs and write basic SQL queries.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Curious, problem-solving mindset with a passion for troubleshooting.
• Comfort with AI tools to speed up troubleshooting and improve workflows.
• Ability to translate technical details into clear explanations.
• Experience in data structuring or reporting on support cases a plus.
• Experience in SaaS or tech environment a plus.

Responsabilités

• Act as second-line support between customer support and engineering.
• Triage and prioritise internal support requests for quick resolution.
• Analyse issues, read code and logs to identify root causes.
• Suggest and implement workflow improvements, manual and automated.
• Provide feedback on potential product improvements from recurring cases.
• Help reduce engineers' time on support tasks.
• Increase the number of cases that can be solved automatically.
