You will lead dispatch and driver operations, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with ADR, GDP, and AEO standards while maintaining 24/7 coverage and high service levels.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in operations, fluency in Dutch, English and French, and a proven track record in temperature-controlled logistics and supplier management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on operations experience.
• Fluent in Dutch, English and French.
• Strong background in dispatching, warehousing, and temperature-controlled logistics.
• Experience with ADR, Air Cargo Security, GDP and AEO regulations.
• Willingness for on-call duty and shift work (06:00–19:00).

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily dispatch and driver operations, ensuring efficient workflows.
• Manage vendor partnerships, including sourcing, onboarding and cost negotiations.
• Ensure service levels and rapid resolution of issues.
• Ensure ADR, Air Cargo Security, GDP and AEO regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate shift planning and 24/7 coverage.
• Drive continuous improvement and implement changes.
• Track KPIs, CAPA, and quality performance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Develop contingency plans and act as escalation point.
• Collaborate with leadership on customer satisfaction and strategic improvements.

• Led the daily operations of dispatch and driver teams, ensuring smooth workflows and optimal resource planning
• Managed and developed vendor partnerships, including sourcing, onboarding, performance reviews, and cost negotiations
• Ensured exceptional service levels and quick resolution of operational issues
• Oversaw compliance with ADR, Air Cargo Security, GDP, AEO, and other regulatory requirements
• Coordinated shift planning and maintained 24/7 operational coverage
• Drove continuous improvement initiatives and implemented operational changes where needed
• Managed KPI tracking, reporting, CAPA follow-up, and quality performance
• Supported recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of team members
• Developed contingency plans and acted as the first escalation point for urgent out-of-hours incidents
• Collaborated closely with leadership on customer satisfaction, operational performance, and strategic improvements

The Successful Applicant

• 5+ years of hands-on operations experience
• Dutch, English and French fluent
• Solid background in dispatching, warehousing, and temperature-controlled logistics
• Experienced in live animal handling
• Strong knowledge of ADR, Air Cargo Security, GDP & AEO regulations
• Skilled in warehouse operations, dispatch coordination, and logistics processes
• Proven track record in managing supplier and vendor relationships
• Comfortable being on-call for urgent situations when needed
• Flexible and adaptable, with availability for shift work (06:00-19:00)
• Able to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced team environment
