Job summary

The Hoxton, Brussels is seeking a Front Office Student role to warmly welcome guests, handle arrivals and check-outs, and support guest services with a smile. This is a student-friendly position based at our Brussels hotel, offering a dynamic, team-oriented environment and opportunities to learn hospitality workflows.

You will be the guest’s first point of contact, assisting with requests, guiding them to local highlights, and keeping desk tasks neat and efficient.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth and make them feel valued from the first hello.
• Handle arrivals/departures, verify bills and minimize surprises.
• Coordinate with teams to keep operations smooth and manage occupancy.
• Answer phones, fulfill guest requests, and share local recommendations.
• Act as gatekeeper, knowing who’s who and what’s what.
• Complete light admin tasks and assist with basic office needs.

Job Description

What you'll do...

• You're the first face our guests see, and you have your own way of treating them as individuals, making them feel welcome and their stay special - the Hox way
• Deal with the coming and going of guests, making sure all bills are correct and contain no surprises
• Work with all our teams to make sure we're always busy, and help our Front Office Manager with any overbooking levels
• Answer phones, sort out requests, give recommendations to the best show to see and the latest pop-up restaurant to try in the area - you're the one-stop-shop for our guests to turn to
• You're our gatekeeper for the hotel. You know who's who and what's what.
• And yes, there's a little admin... Some expenses, some lists and a stationary order or two. But let's face it, we know you love that!

Qualifications

• You are familiar with the Opera Cloud software.
