Job summary

Minds&More seeks an Interim Procurement Officer to join the Brussels-headquartered team for an industrial client. You will manage purchasing of goods, materials, equipment and services for operations, maintenance and projects in an industrial setting.

You will lead tender processes, negotiate favorable terms, analyze internal needs, and shape a long-term purchasing plan with strong contractual drafting and ERP experience.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Applied Economics or similar field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an industrial environment.
• Experience in negotiations and contract drafting is required.
• Knowledge of public procurement procedures is a plus.
• Experience with ERP/procurement systems (SAP, Coupa) is an asset.
• Strong drafting skills; comfortable with contractual texts.
• Proactive, assertive, diplomatic and solution oriented.

Responsibilities

• Guide the tendering process from start to finish, adapting to file complexity.
• Apply an effective negotiation strategy to secure favorable outcomes.
• Identify internal purchasing needs from data and close contact with customers.
• Create market openness by challenging demand and describing needs clearly.
• Update technical and commercial specifications to meet objectives.
• Manage contracts throughout their duration, including renegotiations.
• Define and develop a long-term purchasing vision for key categories.
