Job summary

ictjob.be client seeks a Software Asset Management Officer to ensure reliable, compliant, and cost-efficient management of their IT software licence portfolio. The role combines administrative, analytical and monitoring duties with close collaboration between IT, Procurement and Finance.

You will maintain licences, analyse usage, report on KPIs, and contribute to continuous SAM process improvements, with a focus on cost optimisation and licence renewals.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or IT licence management.
• Strong analytical and administrative capabilities.
• Independent worker with ability to communicate with IT, Procurement, and Finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT software licences: request, approval, acquisition, deployment, monitoring, renewal, retirement.
• Analyse software usage data to identify underutilised licences and cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare analyses, reports and dashboards to support management decisions and monitoring of SAM KPIs.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of SAM processes, controls and data quality.
