Job summary

ictjob.be is seeking a Software Asset Management Officer for a client in Brussels to ensure reliable, compliant and cost-efficient management of the IT software licence portfolio. The role combines administrative, analytical and monitoring duties with close collaboration across IT, Procurement and Finance.

You will oversee licence lifecycle, analyse usage data, propose cost-saving actions, and produce reports and dashboards to support management decisions.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in SAM, ITAM, or licence management.
• Strong analytical and data-driven approach.
• Ability to communicate with IT, Procurement and Finance.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete lifecycle of IT software licences: request, approval, acquisition, deployment, monitoring, renewal and retirement.
• Analyse software contracts, licensing terms, usage rights and relevant clauses with IT, Procurement and Finance.
• Prepare analyses, reports and dashboards to support management decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve SAM processes and data quality.
