Qualifications

Role overview

We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Technical Developer to design, configure, and develop solutions across the ServiceNow platform, with a particular focus on IT Service Management (ITSM) and Customer Service Management (CSM).

You will develop workflows and integrations, support platform administration, and help ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with ServiceNow and ITIL best practices.

Responsibilities Development and configuration

• Configure and customise ServiceNow ITSM and CSM modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, and Case Management.


• Develop workflows, Flow Designer flows, and automation scripts.


• Create and maintain UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and script includes.


• Deliver maintainable solutions in line with established coding standards and ServiceNow best practices.

Integrations

• Build integrations using REST and SOAP APIs, MID Server, and Integration Hub.


• Support secure and scalable integrations with external platforms such as CRM and ERP systems.


• Use ServiceNow Orchestration capabilities to automate cross-platform processes.

Platform administration

• Support instance upgrades, cloning, and performance optimisation.


• Configure and maintain CMDB, Discovery, and asset management capabilities.


• Monitor platform quality and contribute to technical improvements.

Quality and compliance

• Ensure solutions align with ITIL processes and applicable security guidelines.


• Participate in reviews, testing, and quality assurance throughout delivery.


• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.


• Typically 6-8 years of professional experience, including 4-6 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.


• Practical implementation experience with both ITSM and CSM.


• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, Jelly, and AngularJS.


• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Orchestration.


• Experience developing complex workflows and system integrations.


• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.


• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.


• Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum delivery environment.

Preferred qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist certification in ITSM and/or CSM.


• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification.

Work arrangement and location

This is a five-month hybrid assignment based in Brussels, Belgium, with an anticipated start date of 1 October 2026.
