Vivid Resourcing is recruiting a Service Engineer to join a growing IT team in Belgium. The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in the Braine-l'Alleud office, and involves hands-on 1st–3rd line support across Microsoft environments.

You will troubleshoot and own incidents end-to-end, supporting Windows, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure while working with internal users and technical teams. Fluent English is required, Dutch/French an advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Service Engineer, IT Support Engineer or similar role.
• Strong experience with Microsoft environments (Office 365, Azure).
• Able to troubleshoot problems independently and own issues through to resolution.

Responsabilités

Service Engineer

Location: Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium

Working Model: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office

Employment: Full-Time/Permanent

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Service Engineer to join a growing engineering organisation based in Braine-l'Alleud.

This is a hands-on, end-to-end IT service role where you will take ownership of technical issues across the business, providing 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support while helping maintain and improve the wider Microsoft IT environment.

You will work closely with internal users and technical teams to troubleshoot issues, manage infrastructure and applications, and ensure a reliable and efficient IT service across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support to users across the organisation.
• Take ownership of incidents and service requests from initial diagnosis through to resolution.
• Troubleshoot and maintain Microsoft-based environments, including Windows and Microsoft 365.
• Support and administer Office 365, SharePoint and Azure environments.
• Diagnose hardware, software, networking and infrastructure-related issues.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, devices and applications.
• Document incidents, solutions and technical procedures.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve complex technical issues.
• Identify recurring issues and contribute to improvements in IT processes and infrastructure.
• Occasionally travel to European sites to provide hands-on technical support.

About You:

• Previous experience in a Service Engineer, IT Support Engineer or similar role.
• Comfortable working across 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support.
• Strong experience within Microsoft environments, particularly Office 365 and Azure.
• Able to troubleshoot problems independently and take ownership through to resolution.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willing to occasionally travel across Europe.
• Fluent English is required.
• Dutch and/or French would be an advantage.
