Expleo Belgium is seeking a senior Python developer to join our engineering and consulting teams in Brussels. You will develop, optimize, and maintain Python-based services, collaborate with DevOps, data engineers, and product stakeholders, and help modernize legacy systems in an Agile environment.

The role requires strong Python, experience with FastAPI, CI/CD, Docker, SQL, and cloud familiarity, plus multilingual communication in Dutch/French/English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering or related field.
• Strong Python development skills with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Experience with Pandoc? (correction: Pydantic and AsyncIO).
• Experience with SQL, databases such as MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and test automation.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments.
• Azure Cloud experience is a plus.
• Good level of Dutch and/or French and English; German is a plus.

• Support refactoring and modernization of legacy applications.
• Engage with customers to address service requests and ensure resolution.
