You will develop Python-based applications, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure secure, scalable, and well‑tested services in an Agile setting, mentoring juniors and improving CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong Python development skills, preferably with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Experience with SQL and databases such as MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong Python development skills, preferably with FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with Pydantic and AsyncIO.
• Experience with SQL and databases such as MSSQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with RabbitMQ and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and test automation frameworks such as Selenium.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments is a plus.
• Azure Cloud experience is a plus.
• Good level of Dutch and/or French and English is required; German is a plus.

Experience

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience with Python.
• Experience developing backend services and applications.
• Experience working with service‑based and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience working with databases and SQL.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Experience working with legacy code and participating in refactoring initiatives.
• Experience collaborating with developers, architects, business analysts, DevOps, data engineers, and IT operations teams.
