Job summary

TSL is seeking a Project Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial coordination and support on large-scale projects valued between €10m and €40m. You will report to the Commercial Manager and help protect financial and contractual interests while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Proven experience managing multiple commercial projects €10m+.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies and project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with COINS or similar commercial software is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial coordination and support on large-scale projects, ensuring that all aspects are aligned with company standards and client expectations.
• Secure multiple quotations to demonstrate best value and conduct comprehensive reviews of supply chain proposals.
• Ensure all contracts and orders comply with insurance, bond, and warranty requirements and are executed correctly before project commencement.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure accurate assessment of supply chain quotations and that all scope, exclusions, and clarifications are clearly understood.
• Prepare and submit client valuations in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and schedules.
• Monitor and coordinate subcontractor applications, certifying completed works for payment and maintaining compliance with payment schedules.
• Work closely with the finance department to resolve any payment issues with the supply chain and ensure timely debt settlement.
• Maintain accurate project records, both electronically and physically, to ensure ease of access for all team members.
• Lead final account negotiations and ensure prompt submission and agreement of final accounts.
• Support the estimating department by providing historical cost data for tender preparations.
• Participate in monthly cost reporting, ensuring all cost data is accurate and that projects remain in a balanced cash flow position.
• Foster a collaborative and professional approach when dealing with clients and supply chain partners, maintaining high standards of commercial confidentiality.
