BESIX Group in Belgium is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercial aspects of change orders throughout the project lifecycle. You will identify, price, substantiate and settle changes with Clients and Subcontractors, safeguarding the project's contractual and financial interests.

You will work closely with project management, planning, engineering and legal support to capture time and cost impacts, prepare substantiated change packages, and maintain a robust Change Order Register.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in QS/CM/Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Solid knowledge of construction contracts and claims.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency with cost management, quantity take-off, and scheduling tools.

Responsabilités

• Identify, price, and substantiate change orders with clients and subcontractors.
• Review subcontractor variation requests and verify entitlement and costs.
• Interpret contract conditions and maintain Change Order Register.
• Negotiate change orders and advise management on risks and recovery strategies.
