Job summary

ACTIVA Engineering invites a Procurement Officer to join our team in Belgium. You will manage procurement activities on EPC/EPCM projects, handling sourcing, tendering, supplier negotiations and the full administration of procurement documents throughout the project lifecycle.

Working with engineering, project management, construction and contract teams, you will procure industrial equipment and subcontractor services while ensuring compliance with schedules, budgets and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration or equivalent.
• 5 to 10 years of procurement experience.
• Experience within an engineering company, industrial environment, EPC or EPCM organization.
• Experience purchasing industrial equipment and construction services.
• Experience working with international suppliers and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with procurement administration and document management processes.
• Good understanding of procurement processes in project environments.
• Ability to read and work with technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Execution: manage the complete procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order award; issue Call for Tenders (CFT); coordinate tendering activities; evaluate offers; conduct supplier negotiations; prepare bid evaluations; issue POs and subcontract agreements; ensure alignment with schedules and budgets.
• Equipment & Subcontract Procurement: procure industrial equipment and packages; source construction and installation subcontractors; identify alternative suppliers.
• Contract and Commercial Management: review terms; support negotiations; manage change orders and contract amendments; identify risks.
• Procurement Administration & Documentation: create and administer POs in ERP; follow up with suppliers; maintain vendor records; ensure auditable files.
