Job summary

Group IPS, Mechelen-based EPCM leader, seeks a Senior Project Manager to drive major construction and industrial projects from definition through close-out. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage scope, budget, and schedule, and align client expectations across engineering, procurement, planning, and construction.

The role requires a strong CS&A background, 10+ years in related fields, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Architectural/Construction Engineering or equivalent.
• Around 10+ years in civil engineering, architecture, project management, real estate or industrial construction.
• Proven experience managing CAPEX projects, ideally above €20M.
• Strong knowledge of civil works, structures, building design and construction planning.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing contractors.
• Ability to manage project scope, budget, schedule, risks, quality and client communication.
• Good understanding of procurement, contract management and project reporting.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex construction projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, planning, contracts and construction.
• Act as the main client contact, aligning scope, budget, schedule and risks.
• Coordinate project documentation, including execution plans, schedules, risk registers and reports.
• Ensure coordination between design disciplines, contractors and client stakeholders.
• Review technical solutions for constructability, maintainability and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including specifications, bids and negotiations.
• Monitor contractor performance, progress, quality, safety and change orders.
• Lead project meetings and report critical issues with recommendations.
• Identify project risks and coordinate mitigation measures.
