WLG, a multinational defence organisation, seeks a project manager to take full responsibility for a medium-scale project from definition to formal acceptance. You will lead the project team, select suitable methods, and manage change, risk and cost, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery and formal acceptance of deliverables.

Qualifications

• Must have end-to-end project management experience.
• Experience using recognized PM methodologies and adapting them.
• Solid change control, risk and issue management.
• Financial control of a project: budgets and forecasts.
• Strong stakeholder management across organisations and nationalities.
• Willingness to travel between sites.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsabilités

• Take full responsibility for the definition, approach and satisfactory completion of medium-scale projects.
• Lead the project team and select methods and tools that suit the work.
• Run change control and assess and manage risk as the project progresses.
• Keep project plans realistic and communicate with stakeholders regularly and accurately.
• Ensure quality reviews occur on schedule and to procedure.
• Deliver within agreed cost, timescale and resource budgets and obtain formal acceptance of deliverables.
• Monitor cost, time, quality and resource use and act when performance drifts outside tolerance.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, customers and internal units to anticipate problems.
