Wlgroup, a multinational defence organisation, seeks an experienced project manager to drive projects from the business case to delivered capability. You will sit in the PMO, own time, cost and quality, and report to senior stakeholders.

You will plan, run and govern projects, build procurement strategies and business cases, and ensure successful handover through robust QA. Collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in a related discipline.
• Six years of relevant project management experience.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certification; equivalent proven expertise accepted.
• Three years of PM in a large IT organisation with substantial investments.
• Experience with large digital transformation in public sector or international organisations.
• Knowledge of agile delivery, change management, BPM, cloud, data science, and cyber security.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to brief senior audiences.
• Nice to have: ITIL Foundation, PM tooling (ServiceNow/ERP), MoP/MSP, procurement procedures, international experience.

Responsabilités

• Plan, run and manage assigned projects against PM policies and procedures.
• Build procurement strategy, perform benefit and risk analysis, and craft the business case.
• Implement quality assurance to ensure capability or service is fit to hand over.
• Understand client needs, collect data, analyse and resolve problems.
• Identify, plan and allocate resources; take corrective action to prevent slips.
• Lead project teams and communicate honestly with stakeholders.
• Support other teams on PM work and provide technical support when needed.
