Senior Project Manager - End-to-End Defence Digital Programs

WLG, a multinational defence organisation, seeks a project manager to drive a project from business case to delivered capability. You will sit in the PMO, take projects end to end, and be accountable for time, cost and quality.

Responsibilities include planning and managing projects per PM policies, building procurement strategies and business cases, QA, stakeholder communications, and leading cross‑functional teams across international contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with at least six years of relevant experience.
• PRINCE2 Practitioner or PMP certification.
• Minimum three years of project management in a large IT organisation with substantial investments.
• Experience of large digital transformation work in the public sector or an international organisation.
• Knowledge of agile delivery, change management, cloud, data science and cyber security.
• Ability to communicate with tact and brief senior audiences effectively.

Responsabilités

• Plan, run and manage assigned projects per PMO policies and procedures.
• Build procurement strategy, the business case and secure sponsor funding.
• Lead quality assurance to ensure capability or service is ready to hand over.
• Understand client needs, collect data, analyse and resolve problems.
• Identify resources, milestones and take corrective action when plans slip.
• Lead project teams and communicate with stakeholders clearly.
• Support other teams on PM work and provide related technical PM activities.
