Ariad Group in Ghent, Belgium, is seeking a Senior Performance Marketeer to accelerate digital growth for a leading omnichannel retailer in Belgium and the Netherlands.

You will own setup, management and optimization of campaigns across Google Ads, Meta and other channels, using a test-and-learn approach to drive traffic, conversions and revenue. The role is hybrid with a focus on data-driven growth and AI-enabled opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in performance marketing and e-commerce, preferably retail.
• Experience with Google Ads and Meta Ads.
• Strong analytical mindset based on data-driven decisions.
• Growth hacking mentality with experimentation mindset.
• Awareness of AI, generative search and LLMs in advertising.

About our role

As a Senior Performance Marketeer, you'll play a key role in accelerating the digital growth of a well-known omnichannel retailer active in Belgium and the Netherlands. You'll take ownership of setting up, managing and optimizing digital campaigns across both markets, combining strategic thinking with hands‑on execution to drive more traffic, conversions and revenue.

What you will be doing

• Develop and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta and other digital channels
• Analyze performance, adjust campaigns and identify new growth opportunities
• Work from a test-and-learn approach: turn hypotheses into A/B tests and experiments, and quickly scale what works
• Explore opportunities within AI, generative search and LLM-advertising, and research how these can strengthen the channel mix, content strategy and measurability
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from brand marketing, content, studio and e-commerce, and steer external agencies
• Track trends in performance marketing and e-commerce and translate them into concrete opportunities

What you bring

• At least 5 years of experience in performance marketing and e-commerce, preferably within retail
• Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, web analytics, programmatic and display advertising
• A strong analytical mindset, making well‑founded decisions based on data
• A clear growth hacking mentality: you think in experiments, learn fast from data, and continuously test new formats, audiences, channels and landing pages
• An eye for the impact of AI, generative search and LLMs on search, advertising and consumer behavior, and the ability to translate these developments into concrete opportunities
• You work independently, take ownership and think entrepreneurially
• You have an omnichannel mindset, communicate clearly and collaborate smoothly across teams
