Job summary

Ariad, a leading digital consultancy and staffing firm in Europe, is seeking a Performance Marketing Lead to own the digital media strategy across Google Ads, Meta, and more. You will optimize campaigns, manage budgets, collaborate with agencies, and apply data-driven insights to grow traffic and conversions while staying ahead of AI-driven opportunities.

Fluency in Dutch (C2) with French and English is valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in performance marketing, ideally in an agency environment.
• Proven ability to design and optimize digital media strategies.
• Strong data-driven decision making and KPI ownership.
• Experience with multiple digital channels and attribution models.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the digital media strategy to maximize traffic, conversions and business impact.
• Manage media budgets across Google Ads, Meta and other digital channels, ensuring ROI.
• Collaborate with external agencies to ensure best-in-class campaign execution.
• Define attribution models, measurement frameworks and performance KPIs.
• Analyze campaign results and translate insights into actionable optimizations.
• Drive a test-and-learn culture with A/B testing and data-driven decisions.
• Stay ahead of trends, including AI and generative search in digital marketing.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, content and e-commerce teams while remaining hands-on in campaign management when needed.

About our role

As a Performance Marketing Lead, you will take ownership of the digital media strategy across multiple online channels. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution to drive traffic, conversions and business growth. Working closely with internal stakeholders and external agency partners, you continuously optimize campaigns, manage media investments and leverage data to maximize performance. You are always looking ahead, exploring new technologies, AI applications and innovative digital marketing opportunities.

What you will be doing

• Develop and execute the digital media strategy to maximize traffic, conversions and business impact.
• Manage media budgets across Google Ads, Meta and other digital channels, ensuring optimal performance and ROI.
• Collaborate with and challenge external agencies to deliver best-in-class campaign execution.
• Define and improve attribution models, measurement frameworks and performance KPIs.
• Analyze campaign results, identify optimization opportunities and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Drive a test-and-learn culture through continuous experimentation, A/B testing and data-driven decision making.
• Stay ahead of emerging trends, including AI, generative search and new digital advertising opportunities.
• Work cross-functionally with marketing, content and e-commerce teams while remaining hands-on in campaign management when needed.

What you bring

• 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, preferably within an agency environment.
• Proven experience developing digital media strategies and managing external agency partners.
• Hands-on expertise with Google Ads and Meta Ads; experience with programmatic advertising and display campaigns is a strong advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
• A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
• Experience working in cross-functional environments and aligning multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge existing approaches while building consensus.
• A passion for digital innovation, continuous learning and exploring new technologies.
• Native-level proficiency in Dutch (C2), with fluency in both French and English
