Job summary

Jan De Nul Group seeks an experienced HSE Manager for Liège region to oversee safety on large civil projects, including the datacenter expansion. You will implement and monitor safety policies, conduct site tours, and collaborate with site management to keep projects safe and compliant.

The role requires Level 2 safety advisor certification, 8+ years in construction safety, and fluency in English and French.

Qualifications

Level 2 safety advisor certification and knowledge of construction safety procedures.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in construction safety.
Proficiency in English and French.
Strong communication and social skills; ability to coach and guide.
Ability to work with site management and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

Monitor safety and progress of projects through risk analyses and safety inspections.
Consult with site and project management; engage with foremen, workers and subcontractors.
Prepare reports and develop safety procedures and toolbox talks.
Prepare project-specific documents (HSE implementation plan, emergency plan, inspection and testing plan).
Help organize safety training sessions.
Observe and analyze safety issues on site and log them in the platform; follow up on incidents.
Investigate accidents on site and follow up on safety modifications to prevent recurrences.
Facilitate and perform QHSSE audits and inspections.
