Job summary

Euroclear seeks an HR Lawyer to lead HR legal files and employee relations matters within its People & Organisation division in Belgium. You will provide legal counsel to HR and business clients on a wide range of employment issues, balancing company needs with employee interests and implementing solutions through formal documents.

You will coordinate cross-country HR Legal projects, lead social partner discussions, and ensure compliance with Belgian and EU labour law, including GDPR

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in labour law and/or Employee Relations in Belgium.
• Fluent in English, French and Dutch.
• Ability to take a helicopter view and work autonomously.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to advise on complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel to HR and business clients across a wide range of HR legal files, including terminations and contracts changes.
• Lead working groups with social partners on topics such as overtime, policies and employment regulations to seek consensus.
• Prepare and coordinate HR Legal projects across countries (handbooks, contracts, work permits, pension, etc.).
• Advise line managers and People Partners on working schedules and time management.
• Monitor Belgian and EU labour law developments and ensure GDPR-compliant implementation.
