European DIGITAL SME Alliance is seeking an HR and Operations Officer to support HR, payroll and admin functions from our Brussels office. The role balances strategic initiatives with day-to-day operations in a fast-paced, international setting.

You will manage recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits, and compliance, while coordinating with management on workforce planning and engagement. A hybrid work model and flexible hours are offered with a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated previous experience in HR and operations/recruitment in a dynamic work environment.
• Strong knowledge of Belgian labour and social laws and payroll processes.

Responsabilités

• Manage full recruitment cycle from screening CVs to onboarding.
• Prepare and negotiate employment offers and contracts; ensure smooth onboarding.
• Oversee HR operations: timesheets, payroll, attendance, vacation tracking; manage benefits.
• Drive workforce cost planning and monitor staff budget; promote staff development and retention.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal regulations; update policies as needed.
