Alistar is seeking a Senior ERP Finance Consultant to blend finance expertise with ERP technology. You’ll analyze financial processes, translate needs into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions, and guide the implementation from analysis through go-live.

As a Senior ERP Finance Consultant, you combine finance with technology. You delve into clients’ financial processes, identify areas where things can be done smarter or more efficiently, and translate those insights into ERP solutions that make sense to the people who will be using them.

From analysis and configuration to testing, training, and go-live: you’ll contribute to various phases of an ERP implementation and see your ideas actually put into practice. Do you already have experience in finance and ERP, but not yet with every component of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central? That doesn’t have to be a barrier. A strong foundation, analytical insight, and the drive to continue growing are just as important.

Your role as a senior ERP finance consultant

Analyze financial processes and work with clients to identify where ERP systems can provide simpler, smarter, or more efficient support.

Translating financial needs into functional ERP solutions, including those within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Configure financial modules and relevant add‑ons so that the solution aligns with the customer's processes and day-to-day operations

Test and validate solutions to ensure that financial processes work together correctly and logically

From preparation to ERP implementation and go-live, guiding customers through the transition to their new way of working

Provide training and support to key users to ensure that users understand how to use the solution in their daily work

Even after implementation, identify opportunities for optimization and contribute ideas on how to further improve financial processes

Share knowledge with colleagues and clients and further refine solutions, so that every project also yields new insights

What are you bringing?

Solid initial experience in finance, accounting, ERP consulting, or ERP implementations provides a strong foundation for this role

Experience with an ERP system and financial business processes helps you quickly make connections between business questions, numbers, and technology

Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV is a strong asset, but relevant experience with another ERP platform can also serve as a solid foundation. Internally, we have previously evaluated whether candidates with implementation experience in another ERP system could be further trained in Business Central.

An analytical mindset helps you understand financial processes and translate customer questions into practical, functional solutions

Experience as a key user or finance professional with Business Central may also be relevant when it involves process analysis and an understanding of ERP implementations. This background has already been discussed internally as a potentially interesting transition into consulting.

With a clear and honest communication style, you can make complex processes understandable to various stakeholders

Initiative, curiosity, and a sense of ownership enable you to take steps on your own while also knowing when collaboration makes a solution stronger
