Job summary

AutoStore is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team in Europe, taking technical ownership of electronics development for Workstations and Ports including motor drive design. You will coordinate cross‑functional activities, plan deliverables, and guide less experienced engineers across the product lifecycle.

The role involves hands-on hardware design, prototype testing, and collaboration to ensure seamless progression from concept to mass production.

Qualifications

5+ years of electronics engineering experience including analog and digital electronics, power electronics, and motor drive design.
Hands-on PCB development lifecycle from schematic to production release.
Experience with EMC, DFM/DFT, compliance, and high-volume production.
Proficiency with Altium, LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, STM32, sensors.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Cybernetics/Robotics, or related field.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of electronics development for Workstations and Ports, including motor drive design and integration with other hardware.
Coordinate electronics activities within the cross-functional New Product Development team with clear plans and technical guidance.
Design and validate electronics solutions considering interaction with the wider AutoStore portfolio and system architecture.
Maintain technical documentation, project plans, and milestones for clarity and progress.
Contribute throughout the full product lifecycle from concepts and prototypes through testing and mass production.
