Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced electronic hardware from concept to production. You will translate requirements into robust architectures, develop schematics, and oversee PCB layout, while ensuring performance, manufacturability, and reliability across multidisciplinary teams.

You will guide prototypes, testing, verification, and regulatory considerations, mentoring less experienced engineers and driving engineering process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics engineering or related field.
• Several years of professional electronics hardware design experience.
• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Comfortable taking ownership and leading design decisions.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and development of electronic hardware from concept through to production.
• Translate requirements into robust electronic architectures and designs.
• Develop schematics, select components, and oversee PCB layout.
• Design and optimise circuits for performance, efficiency, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Conduct calculations, simulations, and analyses to validate decisions.
• Develop prototypes and lead hardware testing and validation.
• Define and execute verification and validation activities for designs.
• Troubleshoot complex hardware issues and identify root causes.
• Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners on components and production.
• Support design for manufacturing, assembly, and test.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (schematics, BOMs, specs, reports).
• Contribute to EMC/EMI, safety, reliability, and regulatory considerations.
• Work with embedded software, mechanical, systems, and production engineers on projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers.
• Contribute to development of engineering processes, standards and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement of existing products and platforms.
