Stellantis e-Transmissions in Sint-Truiden, BE, seeks a Design and Release Engineer to lead embedded electronics development for eDCT products. You will validate controller integrations, drive DFMEA, APQP and supplier collaboration, and coordinate cross-functional topics across mechanical, software, electrical, and validation teams.

The role requires autonomous work, AGILE mindset, and strong communication; travel to supplier plants may be required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering, automotive engineering or related field.
• 4–5 years of design or related automotive/power electronics experience.
• Hands-on experience with electronic systems or power electronics.
• EMC background and familiarity with MS Office and technical notes.
• Strong organization, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Validate integration of the Controller in Transmission Control System (lab activities).
• Support serial life and continuous improvement for embedded systems.
• Develop component requirements and specifications.
• Create and maintain DFMEA.
• Take ownership of the APQP grid toward suppliers.
• Collaborate with suppliers on module packaging designs for vehicle environments.
• Release components via Change Management System and interface with global counterparts.
• Coordinate and contribute to field returns, warranty and 0-km failure analyses.
• Perform CAN trace analyses and monitor performance indicators.
• Coordinate system requirements and traceability in Polarion.
