Vivid Resourcing is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced electronic hardware from concept to production. You will translate requirements into robust architectures, develop schematics, and oversee PCB layout, while ensuring performance, manufacturability, and reliability across multidisciplinary teams.

You will guide prototypes, testing, verification, and regulatory considerations, mentoring less experienced engineers and driving engineering process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronics engineering or related field.
• Several years of professional electronics hardware design experience.
• Strong knowledge of analogue and digital electronics.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
• Comfortable taking ownership and leading design decisions.

We are looking for a Senior Electronics Engineer to take a leading role in the design and development of advanced electronic systems. You will be involved throughout the full product development lifecycle, from defining requirements and developing concepts through schematic design, prototyping, testing, validation, and transfer into production.

This is a hands-on engineering role with significant technical ownership. You will be responsible for developing robust, reliable electronic solutions while balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, and system requirements. You will work on complex electronic architectures and have the opportunity to influence technical decisions from the early stages of development.

As a senior member of the team, you will also provide technical guidance to other engineers, contribute to design standards and best practices, and help drive continuous improvement across the electronics development process. You will work closely with colleagues across mechanical engineering, embedded software, systems, production, and other disciplines to deliver complete products.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Several years of professional experience in electronics hardware design and development.
• Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools.
• Good knowledge of electronic components, circuit design, testing, and measurement techniques.
• Experience with hardware development from initial concept through to production.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a structured approach to troubleshooting.
• Experience with simulation and analysis tools is an advantage.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI, signal integrity, thermal management, or electronics reliability is beneficial.
• Experience working in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
• Comfortable taking technical ownership and making design decisions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide technical guidance to other engineers.
• A practical, hands-on approach to engineering and product development.
