Job summary

European Payments Council (EPC) in Brussels seeks a Senior) Technical Product Manager – Digital Identity to lead in-house expertise on digital identity and SCA applications in payments. You will monitor eIDAS 2.0 and PSD2/PSR standards, engaging with European institutions and standards bodies.

You will work with EPC governance on roadmap development, stakeholder engagement, and external collaboration, reporting to the Director General, on a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in digital identity, digital trust services, payments authentication or related product management.
• Hands-on product management or operational experience with digital identity solutions or schemes.
• Strong technical credibility with architects, engineers and standards experts.
• Experience in identity and access management (IAM).
• Fluency in English (C1 or above) is required.
• Demonstrated experience in producing digital identity documentation, reports, guidelines and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Technical Product Management: translate EPC schemes' functional specs on digital identity and SCA into technical specs and implementation guidelines leveraging RESTful APIs, JSON, and eIDAS standards.
• Contribute to and consolidate expert input on technical specifications.
• Track the technical and operational impact of SCA requirements under PSD2 and PSR, RTS alongside eIDAS 2.0.
• Help EPC groups assess digital identity developments' impact on EPC schemes for PSPs.
