Job summary

European Payments Council (EPC) is seeking an IAM Senior Technical Product Manager in Brussels on a permanent contract. You will provide in-house expertise on digital identity and its application to payments, focusing on SCA requirements for SEPA schemes and the EU Digital Identity Wallet.

You will monitor eIDAS 2.0, PSD2, PSR and related standards, engage with European institutions and standard bodies, and support EPC working groups on digital identity initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in digital identity, digital trust services, payments authentication or related product management.
• Hands-on product management or operational experience with digital identity solutions or schemes.
• Strong technical credibility with architects, engineers and standards experts.
• Experience in identity and access management (IAM).
• Strong understanding of the digital identity landscape including eIDAS 2.0 and the EUDI Wallet.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage EPC schemes’ functional specs on digital identity and SCA, translating them into technical specs and guidelines.
• Contribute to annual workplan and roadmap for EPC’s digital identity activities.
• Coordinate input into public consultations and manage calls for interest and RFPs.
• Engage with European institutions and standard bodies; represent EPC in relevant groups.
