Job summary

Bancontact Company is seeking a Project Manager in Brussels to lead complex payment projects, including onboarding new partners, activation of products, and certifications. You will coordinate technical and business aspects, manage stakeholders across teams, and ensure governance and timely delivery of initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent by experience.
• 5+ years of experience in a project manager role in the payment industry.
• Strong knowledge of card payment ecosystems (card, terminal, ATM, e-commerce, acquiring, issuing, mobile payments).
• Fluency in English is required; fluency in Dutch or French (preferably bilingual NL/FR).

Responsibilities

• Certify/recertify Bancontact members and certificate holders.
• Manage onboarding projects for new partners and activation of new products.
• Coordinate connectivity and communication setup with partners.
• Organise security setup and audits with the Security Officer.
• Support Business Development in mapping partner needs to solutions.
• Coordinate with Marketing on go‑to‑market activities as needed.
• Ensure project status communication and alignment among stakeholders.
• Handover completed projects to operations after deployment.
