SOFICO, based in Ghent, is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse & Analytics Specialist to maintain and optimize our reporting ecosystem. You will design innovative solutions to address evolving data needs and drive the migration from Synapse to a modern data warehousing environment as part of the central data team.

The role focuses on enhancing data pipelines, building Power BI dashboards, and translating business requirements into scalable data models.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience (5+ years) in data warehousing and analytics.
• Proven enterprise data warehousing experience.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience with data visualization, especially Power BI.
• Proficient in SQL and data modeling.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new tools and methodologies.

From our office in Ghent , we’re looking for a Senior Data Warehouse & Analytics Specialist who’s eager to contribute to our data-driven future. In this role, you’ll maintain and optimize our current reporting ecosystem while designing innovative solutions to address emerging data needs. You will play a key role in driving the migration from Synapse to our modernized data warehousing environment and, as part of our central data team, collaborate to solve complex technical challenges, identify new opportunities, and translate data into real business value. What** you’ll do **…

• Design,maintain, and enhance our Data Warehouse environment
• Add knowledge and insights to the team, both in terms ofdata warehousing and data visualization
• Ensurehigh-quality data ingestion processes and drive continuous improvement in our data infrastructure.
• Develop and refine Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into robustdata models and analytical solutions.
• Identify gaps, propose improvements, and safeguard data reliability and performance.
• Collaborate closely with both technical and business teams with a pragmatic, results-driven mindset.

• Senior-level experience (5+ years recommended)
• Proven experience with enterprise data warehousing
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Experience withdata visualization, preferably Power BI
• Knowledge ofSQL and data modeling principles
• Experience withETL/ELT processes
• Strong communication skills in English, Dutch is nice to have
• Driven to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies
