Sofico, based in Belgium, is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse & Analytics Specialist to maintain and optimize the reporting ecosystem and design innovative data solutions. You will drive the migration from Synapse to a modern data warehousing environment as part of the central data team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with technical and business units, development of Power BI dashboards, and delivering data-driven business value in an international setting.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience (5+ years)
• Proven experience with enterprise data warehousing
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Experience with data visualization, preferably Power BI
• Knowledge of SQL and data modeling principles
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes
• Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is nice to have
• Must have: Snowflake, Power BI, DAX, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Agile environment, Python, SharePoint, Salesforce, Bob, Kantata, Tempus, Workato

Responsabilités

• Design, maintain, and enhance our Data Warehouse environment
• Develop and refine Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders
• Translate business requirements into robust data models and analytical solutions
• Ensure high-quality data ingestion processes and drive continuous improvement in our data infrastructure
• Identify gaps, propose improvements, and safeguard data reliability and performance
• Collaborate closely with both technical and business teams with a pragmatic, results-driven mindset
• Collaborate on migrating from Synapse to a modernized data warehousing environment

In this role, you'll maintain and optimize our current reporting ecosystem while designing innovative solutions to address emerging data needs. You will play a key role in driving the migration from Synapse to our modernized data warehousing environment and, as part of our central data team, collaborate to solve complex technical challenges, identify new opportunities, and translate data into real business value.
