SOFICO in Ghent is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse & Analytics Specialist to maintain and optimize our reporting ecosystem while designing innovative solutions for emerging data needs. You’ll play a key role in migrating from Synapse to a modern data warehouse and collaborating with the central data team to translate data into business value.

You’ll work with Snowflake, Power BI, Azure Data Lake, and SQL in an agile environment. English is required, Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience (5+ years) in data warehousing and analytics.
• Proven enterprise data warehousing experience.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Experience with data visualization, preferably Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL and data modeling principles.
• Experience with ETL/ELT processes.
• Strong communication in English; Dutch is nice to have.
• Driven to learn new tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Design, maintain, and enhance our Data Warehouse environment.
• Develop and refine Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure high-quality data ingestion processes and improve data infrastructure.
• Translate business requirements into robust data models and analytical solutions.
• Collaborate with both technical and business teams with a pragmatic mindset.
• Identify gaps, propose improvements, and safeguard data reliability and performance.
• Support migration from Synapse to a modern data warehousing environment.
