Job summary

DICE - Data Intelligence Community Experts is leading a data-driven transformation with a focus on AI, governance, and value creation. You will serve as a senior technical and functional reference for advanced Data Science and AI initiatives across the full lifecycle.

You will collaborate with business, Data and IT teams, challenge requirements, assess feasibility and value, and develop scalable AI solutions while shaping enterprise-wide governance in alignment with the EU AI Act.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in a quantitative/technical field; equivalent professional experience accepted.
• 7+ years of experience in Data Science, ML, or AI with end-to-end delivery from scoping to production and monitoring.
• Hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, ML, and generative AI with understanding of MLOps.
• Experience as a senior technical reference, guiding and coaching team members.
• Ability to challenge requirements, assess value/feasibility, and translate topics for business stakeholders.
• Familiarity with enterprise-wide AI governance and regulatory compliance.
• Comfort coordinating cross-functional stakeholders in a regulated environment.
• Fluent in English and in French or Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Science and AI initiatives across their full lifecycle from scoping to deployment and monitoring.
• Challenge requirements and feasibility, define success criteria, and provide recommendations for prioritization.
• Develop advanced analytics, ML and generative AI solutions or supervise their delivery with partners.
• Coordinate business, Data, and IT stakeholders, managing risks and dependencies.
• Provide hands-on guidance and coach team members to strengthen capabilities.
• Define and promote robust technical practices and standards.
• Advise stakeholders on AI opportunities, limitations, and implementation approaches.
• Define and implement the enterprise-wide AI governance framework in line with internal standards and EU AI Act.
