eXalt Belgium in Brussels seeks a Senior Data Governance & AI Transformation Manager to lead the data governance program for AI, ensuring compliance with the EU AI Act and responsible AI practices. You will shape an AI-ready data framework, govern data used by AI systems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed data quality, privacy, and provenance into every model deployment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), or Data Quality.
• Strong understanding of AI architectures and data flows for AI.
• Deep knowledge of GDPR and the EU AI Act.
• Translate legal requirements into data architecture constraints.
• Ability to lead and defend ethical and compliant data usage.
• Proficient with Collibra, Informatica and Alation; agile methods.
• English fluency with professional mastery of French or Dutch.

Responsabilités

• Define and own AI training data governance policies (provenance, consent, auditability).
• Evaluate AI use cases for data readiness and risk; block non-compliant projects.
• Implement AI-driven governance tools: automated labeling, data classification, AI watch.
• Define data delegation rules and hard limits for autonomous agents.
• Lead Responsible AI policy and validate registries of AI use cases before deployment.
