Job summary

KPMG Lighthouse is seeking an experienced Data & AI Governance Manager to lead governance initiatives across data and AI transformation programs, ensuring reliability, explainability, and regulatory compliance.

You will design, operationalize and scale governance, work with CDOs/CIOs, and embed governance into pipelines, reporting, and decision-making, while guiding senior stakeholders and delivering tangible outcomes.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in Data & AI governance.
• Experience in regulatory-driven environments (GDPR, EU AI Act, CSRD).
• Knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK or DCAM is a plus.
• Hands-on governance tooling experience (Collibra, Purview, Informatica).
• Experience with data quality tooling (Collibra Data Quality, Soda, Great Expectations).
• Experience with automation and integration (Python, SQL, APIs).
• Experience with data lineage, metadata, quality monitoring.
• Exposure to regulated industries such as Financial Services.

Responsibilities

• Design governance strategies and operating models.
• Translate regulatory requirements into governance designs.
• Enable scalable, automated governance in pipelines and lifecycles.
• Lead tooling selection and architecture oversight (Collibra, Purview, Informatica).
• Collaborate with Data, IT, Risk and Business stakeholders.
• Support growth through governance value cases and proposals.
