Job summary

Consort Group is seeking an AI Data Scientist (M/F) to lead advanced Data Science and AI use cases from business scoping through deployment and monitoring in a Brussels-based CoE. You will guide the team, collaborate with business, data and IT, and help implement enterprise-wide AI governance aligned with EU guidance.

You will shape robust technical practices, coach team members, and manage cross-functional stakeholders in a regulated environment to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• University degree in a quantitative or technical field or equivalent experience.
• At least 7 years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or AI.
• End-to-end delivery experience from scoping to monitoring.
• Senior technical reference with guidance and coaching responsibilities.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Data Science and AI use cases end to end, from scoping to deployment and monitoring.
• Challenge business needs, define success criteria and advise on investments.
• Develop advanced analytics, ML and generative AI solutions, or supervise delivery.
• Define and promote robust practices for Data Science and AI solutions.
• Lead AI governance initiatives aligned with group standards and EU guidance.
• Establish processes to identify, assess and monitor AI initiatives.
