Tractebel is seeking a civil or industrial engineer (or physics B.Sc.) with 5–10 years of experience in nuclear fuel and core physics. In this role, you will advance core physics studies, develop fuel safety and multiphysics capabilities, and contribute to R&D projects across disciplines.

You will write technical reports, coordinate with multiple experts, and participate in tender calls to support business growth while mentoring others and delivering high-quality analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in a relevant field (engineering or physics).
• 5-10 years of experience in nuclear fuel and core physics.
• Fluent English; good knowledge of French or Dutch and the other language.

Responsabilités

• Lead core and fuel physics studies and developments in fuel safety and core multiphysics.
• Perform engineering analyses using industry-standard methods and simulation tools.
• Contribute to R&D projects related to Core Physics applications.
• Prepare engineering and synthesis reports of analyses.
• Coordinate across areas of expertise and participate in tender drafting and business growth.
• Provide training on areas of expertise and report to Group Manager.
