Job summary

Jobgether in Belgium seeks an experienced Container Engineer to join a globally distributed team responsible for a high‑performance container platform powering cloud-native apps. You will ensure reliability, security, observability, and cost efficiency across multi-tenant Kubernetes infrastructure in multiple regions.

Autonomy and open‑source tooling are emphasized. You will lead reliability initiatives, build automation, and improve deployment practices, influencing core platform architecture

Qualifications

• At least five years in platform engineering, Kubernetes or container platform operations, SRE, or production infra.
• Experience with multi-tenant infrastructure and RBAC, namespaces, network policies.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain SLIs/SLOs and error budgets for container platform.
• Lead ORRs for new capabilities and changes, improve observability.
• Build and operate automation, controllers, operators, and platform APIs.
• Design and improve CI/CD pipelines and release processes for deployments.
• Implement security automation, intrusion detection, and automated remediation.
• Develop automated testing suites for platform releases.
• Evolve container tech stack, architectures for multi-tenant environments.
• Improve infrastructure efficiency and cost optimization.
• Assist product teams with reliable operational practices and runbooks.
