Job summary

WLG is seeking a DevOps Engineer to sit between development and infrastructure, ensuring production-ready pipelines and platforms. The role is fully on site in Belgium, focusing on container orchestration, CI/CD, IaC, and cross-team delivery in an Agile environment.

You will administer Kubernetes-based platforms (SUSE Rancher Prime, RKE2, Docker), implement GitOps workflows, and build automated pipelines with GitLab/ArgoCD/Jenkins. Strong scripting and observability skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in DevOps or automated platform management.
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2 and Docker administration.
• CI/CD and GitOps with GitLab, ArgoCD or Jenkins, and solid version control habits.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, configuration automation with Ansible.
• VMware plus at least one of Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Bash or Python scripting, and Prometheus, Grafana and ELK for observability.
• A track record of delivering across teams in fast-moving Agile settings, and professional English.

Responsibilities

• Administering the container platform on SUSE Rancher Prime and working directly with development teams to bring their applications into production
• Designing, building and looking after CI/CD pipelines that automate testing, integration and delivery end to end
• Provisioning hybrid infrastructure, on premises and in the cloud, as code
• Putting monitoring, logging and alerting in place so the platform stays reliable and fast
• Building security and compliance controls into the pipelines and configurations themselves
• Untangling hard integration and deployment problems across several agile teams
