Job summary

act digital is an international consulting and engineering group driving digital transformation across 12 countries. We are looking for a Platform Architect to build and operate the container runtime, design infrastructure as code, and secure scalable CI/CD for multi-environment deployments.

You will own networking, edge load balancing, observability, and secret management while collaborating with tech leads and governance teams. Fluent English is required; Dutch or French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating container platforms in production (Kubernetes or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of service mesh, ingress and TLS concepts.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform) and CI/CD (GitLab).

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the platform's container runtime across dev, acceptance and prod environments.
• Own service-to-service networking, ingress, TLS, routing and policies.
• Design and maintain infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Package and deploy platform components and controllers.
• Implement end-to-end identity, federation and secrets management.
• Manage edge load balancing, DNS, certificates and WAF rules.
• Make the platform observable with logs, metrics and alerts.
• Onboard use-case teams with patterns and documentation.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and maintain docs.
