Job summary

Be Consultancy Group BV is seeking a Senior IT Operations Engineer in Brussels to optimize scalable IT infrastructure, containerized apps, and hybrid cloud environments. You will support distributed systems, monitoring, and security practices, enabling reliable operations across European clients.

Candidates should have 6+ years in IT, strong Docker/Kubernetes skills, IaC experience with Terraform or CloudFormation, and proficiency in CI/CD pipelines (Git/Jenkins/GitLab CI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional IT experience with containerized environments.
• Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration and scalability.
• Experience with hybrid cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize IT infrastructure and containerized environments with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Support network architecture and distributed systems integration across hybrid clouds.
• Manage monitoring, performance and real-time alerting with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Implement and maintain load balancing, caching and messaging using Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Support relational and NoSQL databases; automate provisioning with Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Jenkins and GitLab CI; ensure secure coding practices.
