Job summary

Work Life Group in Belgium is seeking a hands-on cloud engineer to manage container platforms and cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure, with uptime as a core priority. You will administer enterprise cloud environments, handle level 2/3 support, provision VMs and storage with high availability, and manage cloud networking.

Automation via Terraform and scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShell is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience administering AWS environments (IAM, EC2, load balancers, CloudFront, WAF).
• Experience running enterprise Azure environments (IaaS and PaaS).
• Strong Kubernetes and Docker skills in cloud and on-premises.
• DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of securing cloud networks and access control.
• Monitoring/logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK or Prometheus.
• Excellent spoken and written English and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Administering and configuring enterprise cloud environments in AWS or Azure
• Handling level 2 and 3 cloud support and resolving operational problems quickly
• Provisioning VMs, storage and databases in the cloud with high availability
• Managing cloud networking: VPCs, subnets, route tables, VPNs and dedicated links
• Automating deployments with Terraform or similar, and scripting routine work in Python, Bash or PowerShell
