Job summary

Showpad in Ghent, Belgium, is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join the platform enablement team. You’ll help strengthen the infrastructure foundation that the engineering organisation builds on, with product teams owning their AWS accounts while the platform team provides guardrails and reusable patterns.

You’ll work hands-on across multi-account AWS environments, serverless architectures, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code, collaborating with engineering teams and participating in

Qualifications

• Hands-on AWS experience, including serverless and Kubernetes.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code experience; AWS CDK preferred.
• Platform engineering mindset: help other teams build and operate effectively.
• Coding or scripting skills with practical troubleshooting of production systems.
• Clear communication and ability to learn unfamiliar systems with team support.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve shared AWS infrastructure, guardrails and reusable patterns across our multi-account environment.
• Support product teams as they build and operate their own cloud infrastructure.
• Work with serverless architecture, Kubernetes and infrastructure as code.
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and platform issues, including in production.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to unblock work, share knowledge and improve practices.
• Participate in operational support, including on-call and escalation rotations.
