Job summary

John Sisk & Son Ltd seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead large, technically challenging projects, reporting to the Project/Regional Director. You will plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of delivery in line with the Sisk strategy, with responsibility for safety, environment, quality and profit.

Responsibilities include establishing stage programmes, site setup, coordinating trades, risk assessments, and liaising with clients and supply chain.

Qualifications

• At least ten years in construction management with a regional contractor.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to liaise with clients and stake holders.
• Organised with proactive planning and time management.

Responsibilities

• Establish and monitor key stage programmes
• Set up the site and maintain site security
• Take possession of the site, plan and coordinate trades activities
• Apply for temporary service connections
• Interpret drawings and communicate directions to site personnel, sub contractors and suppliers
• Ensure method statements and risk assessments for high-risk activities
• Request information from the professional team and confirm verbal instructions
• Assist with approvals to progress the project (e.g. hoarding licence)
• Review buildability and identify construction methods with commercial advantage
• Work with Environmental Co-ordinator on HSE plan objectives
• Attend site and internal meetings; circulate notes and actions
