John Sisk & Son is seeking a Mech Lead to join the Life Science team. You will deliver mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems across major projects, guiding cross-functional teams and ensuring safety, quality and energy objectives are met.

The role requires over 10 years of experience in large-scale MEP projects, strong leadership, and a solid track record in tendering, planning and commissioning. A flexible and remote working approach is available within a hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Project Management experience across large-scale MEP projects.
• Strong leadership and team motivation abilities.
• Knowledge of H&S policies and live energy practices.
• Experience delivering QMS, ITP and commissioning plans.

Responsabilités

• Assist in delivery of Building Services Strategy Plan in support of business units objectives.
• Support MEP technical and commercial aspects of project bids in line with company procedures.
• Guide in tendering and award of MEP packages per contract strategy.
• Ensure MEP teams determine temporary electrical requirements incl. load and energy assessments.
• Lead MEP project delivery by guiding and motivating teams.
• Plan building services resources to manage delivery of projects.
• Ensure teams follow Building Services management procedures and PEPs.
• Finalize installation and commissioning programs to integrate with main construction schedule.
• Coordinate drawings for approval and construction per programme.
• Track equipment & plant from submittals to delivery and quality checks.
• Oversee QMS snagging, quality walk downs, and sign-offs of MEP installations.
• Develop site-specific ITPs, commissioning, and handover plans with MEP contractors.
