Job summary

Group IPS in Belgium is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex construction projects from definition to close-out. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and clients to ensure delivery on scope, budget, schedule and safety.

You will apply Civil & Structural Engineering expertise across CS&A works, manage CAPEX initiatives typically €10M–€50M, and report to stakeholders while maintaining high-quality results in international contexts.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Building Engineering or equivalent.
• Around 10+ years of experience in civil engineering, architecture, project management, real estate or industrial construction.
• Proven experience managing CAPEX projects, ideally above €20M.
• Strong knowledge of civil works, structures, building design and construction planning.
• Fluency in Dutch and English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex construction projects through full lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across engineering, procurement, planning, contracts and construction.
• Act as main client contact to align scope, budget, and schedule.
• Manage scope, budget, planning, quality, safety and risks.
• Coordinate procurement activities including bid evaluations and negotiations.
• Review technical solutions for constructability and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead meetings and report critical issues with recommendations.
• Identify risks and coordinate mitigation measures.
