Green Recruitment is seeking a Senior Business Developer to drive the growth of BESS projects within the Walloon market. You will build and expand the pipeline, negotiate with landowners and grid operators, and collaborate with engineering teams across countries to win new opportunities.

The role requires a senior, entrepreneurial candidate with a proven track record in renewable energy project development and a strong network in the industry.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in energy, industrial projects, or related fields.
• Fluent in French; strong English and Dutch skills.
• Excellent communication and networking capabilities.
• Organised with strong attention to detail and a team player mindset.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to develop new projects and markets.

Responsabilités

• Develop new opportunities and grow the existing BESS pipeline in the Walloon market.
• Lead commercial and contractual negotiations with landowners, grid operators, study agencies and local authorities.
• Support sales with value propositions alongside engineering teams; collaborate with international colleagues.
• Manage accounts and follow up with existing clients to grow relationships.
• Oversee budgets and financial aspects of projects.
• Select and maintain relationships with BESS technology suppliers and external stakeholders.
